And yet, Bad can t help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean (MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL), a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. As he struggles down the road of redemption, Bad learns the hard way just how tough life can be on one man s crazy heart.

3 out of 5 stars Marginal sound quality   July 14, 2010
Simcoe (Burbank, CA)
Overall this is a good soundtrack but I am disappointed in the sound quality of Jeff Bridges' songs. They sound muffled and muted, almost as if they were recorded from the film itself as opposed to a separate studio recording. The songs by other artists all sound like studio recordings. And the sound quality of Jeff Bridges songs from the DVD was fine, which is why I bought the soundtrack.

4 out of 5 stars Some Great Songs   July 4, 2010
Andrew D. Mckinney (Anniston, AL United States)
If you enjoyed the movie, then you probably came away with at least a couple of new songs echoing in your head such as Fallin' & Flyin' and Gone, Gone, Gone. Overall,
several good songs on the album.

5 out of 5 stars Mom's Day Gift to my Mom   June 4, 2010
Karen C. Mccarney (california)
Well everyone out there knows how hard it is to find the perfect gift for your Mom on Mother's Day. Well my Mom and I watched this movie and during and at the end of the movie she commented on how she would love to get the soundtrack to it so "ding ding ding" I immeditately went to Amazon.com and sure enough they had it and for a very reasonable price. I ordered it and it arrived the day after Mother's Day :( but my Mom was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the gift. The music is great Jeff Bridges sounds great. I highly recommend this to any country western music lover. :) giggle

5 out of 5 stars Soundtrack's as good as the film!   May 2, 2010
Ms. A. Fowler (Caerphilly, UK)
My son and I saw the film and ordered the soundtrack as soon as we got home. Love it!

5 out of 5 stars Superb!   April 28, 2010
Deborah K. Anderson (Rockton, IL USA)
I love this CD; I purchased it on the same night I saw the movie!
I've always liked Jeff Bridges as an actor; who knew he could sing country, too!
The original songs are great & the classic country selections are perfect for the flow of the film. This CD has been in my car C D player almost constantly for the past couple months.
