Product Description This is a project envisioned by the band prior to Mary's passing. Peter & Paul have been recording new orchestral arrangements of their songs to be combined with recent/archival live vocals mixed with new symphonic arrangements. Dedicated to Mary, each song was recorded at a different concert over the last 20 years.

Classical & anti-war combined for a good product May 21, 2010 Thomas Hofer (Morgan City, LA, USA) Peter, Paul, and Mary again are doing a good job in singing songs that advocate love over war (just before Mary died), and the anti-war, folk, and country clearly come over the classical theme, thouch some classical instruments can be heard in the background as some of the songs are sung. The interaction between Peter, Paul, and Mary on one hand and the Prague Symphony Orchestra is going well throughout. Of course, when a soloist sings even during a classical performance, that soloist also takes the lead in the performance even when accompanied by an orchestra, as I have noticed. Therefore, Peter, Paul, and Mary do not distinguish themselves very much from any such soloist, except that the songs they are singing are songs that they had sung all along in previous performances. In any case, it is most enjoyable to listen to this CD, and I am happy to have it.
One More Chance To Hear The Magic May 18, 2010 Mark S. Levy With the first song you will be captivated by the magic of the recordings. One song after the other will take you back over the last 50 years of hearing and seeing the trio. Blending the voices with the orchesta is amazing.
Peter, Paul and Mary--perhaps their last album April 29, 2010 Ron Shapiro (Pittsburgh, PA) This is probably P,P&M's last album, as Mary passed away last year, and represents a collaboration with the Prague Symphony Orchestra. It is a lovely album and will appeal to folk music fans of all ages.

Having been a 60's kid (baby-boomer), I had to check out the LAST recording of Peter, Paul, and Mary. WOW! It was both touching, refreshing, and hopeful---all wrapped up in ONE CD.

I was first intruduced to PP&M when I was a child. My mom would play their records while she did housework. At 14, my mother and I took our firt trip together....to a PP&M concert at the Minnesota State Fair. I was hooked! They were amazing both on stage and off. What truly genuine people! They stayed after the concert and signed autographs for everyone. I was in awe of them. I was able to see them in concert five more times before Mary's passing, and my most memorable was a concert at the Civic Center in Des Moines,Iowa that my aunt, my mother, and I took my then 3 year old son to. It was important to me for him to see them in concert. Of course, he loved it. One thing though, they hadn't sang his then favorite PP&M song "Inside" from the Peter Paul and Mommy Too CD. We waited near the green room after the concert(which I knew to do from previous concerts), and sure enough, Peter and Mary came out to sign autographs. While signing our CD, I told them how my son had wanted to hear the "Inside" song. Without another word, Peter began singing the song to my son while I held him, and Mary soon joined in. It is a memory we have all treasured ever since, and one of my son's earliest memories of his childhood. Their music will forever be a part of our lives, and for those few moments, they made an unforgettable impact on us, and everyone in that room. In taking the time to sing for my son, they showed all of us that everyone truly does matter, and if we take the time to let them know that, we can change their lives, if even only for those few moments. This collection is a wonderful tribute to Mary, as well as an expression of their love for each other, and for all of us. Mary will be sadly missed, but she lives on through PP&M's music and in the hearts and memories of my family and I'm sure many, many countless others.
