5 out of 5 stars Lamb of God Does It Again !   July 14, 2010
Steven C. Huskins
I'm quite an avid Lamb of God fan; however, I found Sacrament to be a bit too slow and mainstream. Oh yes, it's a great album... but the ferociousness of Ashes of the Wake and As the Palaces Burn was lacking. This album, while a little different, returns to the fast, and viscous crawl that the earlier albums had (excluding American Gospel, which is another beast in its own right). It also begins the best. Anyone who listens to metal will easily be reminded of Metallica's Fight Fire With Fire... the beginning of Ride the Lightning. Like the previously mentioned track, this album begins with acoustic bliss that is slammed into your face at the coming of "In Your Words." All in all, while not their greatest achievement, "Wrath" is surely worth your time and money. A must-have!

1 out of 5 stars crappy music I feel like voicing my opinion   June 9, 2010

This genre is stupid. This band is stupid. The guitar playing is bottom notch. Rock or metal without guitar solos is stupid. The few solos I have heard this band "attempt" are awful. What the is the point of having lyrics if I cant understand a "G"osh "D"arn thing the vocalist is "screaming"...What the dude?....what the?

This music is childish. How are people buying into this trash? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?

This music is not cool. YOu dont need to play fast or scream to be hardcore..

I hate this band and I hate this genre.

Grow up and stop supporting this trash so that real musicians actually have a chance to make it in this world so I have something to listen to thanks.

edit

The guitar playing consists of zero skill. absolutely zero. The riffs and solos are at the level of a beginner. The vocals are laughable. There is no intelligence behind this band that I can find. Nothing creative or remarkable at all.

How this genre has taken the country by storm is beyond me.

1 out of 5 stars NOT ORIGINAL AT ALL   June 7, 2010

Lamb of God is a total dissapointment on this album. No cool new riffs... No Original Message... Just more simple chugging and the occasional stock guitar solo. Can't even compare to Ashes of the Wake.

5 out of 5 stars Metal!   December 31, 2009

This album is awesome and a fine staple for this band being one of metal's top bands. The riffs are amazing, the vocals and inhuman awesomeness, the drums are killer and the songs are epic! Awsome band, awesome metal!
