Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
T.I. has grown to truly be one of his generation's most captivating speakers. Whether he's conversing frankly with a room full of youth about the positive side of staying in school and following their dreams, or moving tens of thousands at one of his concerts, the audiences are immediately engrossed by the King of the South's words. T.I., here delivers his most potent and important LP to date; 'Paper Trail.' The title is a direct reference to T.I.'s return to literally writing down his lyrics- a practice he hasnt engaged in since his debut. By going back to the basics T.I. has evolved into a better MC. The album features guest appearances and production by Lil Wayne. Rihanna, Usher, The Dream, Fall Out Boy, Kanye West, B.O.B, John Legend, DJ Toomp, Swizz Beatz, Drumma Boy, & Danja. This is the explicit version.

5 out of 5 stars One Of The Best   June 20, 2010

I don't think there is more than two songs on here that aren't instant favorites.
This album shows that T.I. truly is the king!
5/5

3 out of 5 stars T.I - Paper Trail   May 29, 2010
Douglas Huynh (Denver, CO)
This album was pretty decent. There are few good songs worth listening to over and over. My favorites are:

1. 56 Bars - I loved the beat and T.I spits fire the entire song
2. Ready for Whatever - My favorite song of the album. His 2nd verse is killer
3. No Matter What - Pretty deep song

He said he liked it but I'm not too much of a fan of this stuff. It was delivered really quickly, though!

I must be the only person that actually liked T.I. vs. T.I.P. Sure, the alter ego thing was a little corny, but I thought there were enough quality songs on there (and most people that didn't like the album never said exactly what was wrong with it). Anyway, Paper Trail is his most successful album, and for good reason.

One thing I like about T.I. is that he doesn't lose any of his edge on his singles; thus, they don't sound blatant (see especially "Live Your Life", although it's an obvious single because it has no profanity). And there are other great tracks, like "Ready for Whatever", "Every Chance I Get" and "No Matter What". The promo song "Swing Ya Rag" is also good (and that was a hell of a performance of it on Saturday Night Live).

"I'm Illy" is a somewhat dated term, but even that sounds good. In fact, the only thing keeping me from giving the album five stars is the questionable two-in-a-row of "My Life Your Entertainment" and "Porn Star". Though T.I. might be making more headlines now for his prison sentence instead of his music (although he's been released already), Paper Trail might be his best album thus far. It isn't too late to get it.

5 out of 5 stars great album   November 19, 2009
Tee (North Carolina, USA)
This is a wonderful album just as T.I. is a wonderful artist. The person who gave this review 2 stars and said there are only 2 good songs must not be listening to the same thing. I listen to all kinds of music, and I have loved all of his albums. This album is more upbeat and he made it especially for the fans. He has a message behind certain songs on this album and if u can't grasp it, then dnt listen to it.

I love the whole album and I think if he launched all of the songs to the radio, he would certainly have more than two #1 hits. The whole album is a hit.

T.I. is a very realistic man, and for ppl who say some of his earlier songs were speaking about b***h, and killing ppl, you all need to understand that these artists are rapping about what sells. And unfortuneatly, calling a woman out her name, sexual lyrics, and pulling an AK sells to most of the audiences out here. I have no doubt in my mind that he lives by the way he raps. He is well rounded man, and knows how to sell his music. And even with him having explicit lyrics and calling a woman this, he is still more clean cut than many of the rappers that are out today.

If you are a T.I. fan as I am, and u dnt have this album. Definitely go get it and get it quick. WONDERFUL album from beginning to end.
