Album Description
EXPLICIT. 2010 release, a crossover Rock album from the self-proclaimed 'greatest rapper of all time'. Lil Wayne's previous full-length, the Grammy Award-winning The Carter III has been certified triple platinum with over one million sold in it's first week of release! 4 out of 5 stars Different but, whats wrong with that?   July 27, 2010

I was hesitant buying this cd after looking at some people's reviews for it. But after taking a brief listen i decided to go buy it. It is definately different from the norm for him but, i like it. Of course im in to rock music alot too but, its a nice change of pace cd for me. Really like "Drop the World", "Paradice", and "Knockout" but, as i listen to it more i think more songs are going to grow on me.

Oh oh oh...it was TERRIBLE!! I absolutely love Lil Wayne as a rapper, but this crossover was horrible. Wayne definitely has the wrong voice for rock. The lyrics were lackluster as well. All in all, it was the worst thing I've heard this year. Twista's new album category 5 is pretty good though. Try to use it to ease the pain of Lil Wayne's train wreck of an album.

2 out of 5 stars Weezy Rock   June 23, 2010

Lil' Wayne is a very unique rapper who emerged from a young "Cash Money" member in the late 90s to one of the best (selling) rappers alive. "The Carter I-III" are all great albums which showcase the creative evolution of Lil' Wayne.

Rebirth is an experimental Hardrock album with Hip Hop influence, which didn't completely work for me. There are three jams on this CD though: 1. "Drop The World (feat. Eminem)", 2. "Paradice" and 3. "Runnin' (feat. Shanell)". The rest of the album is rather forgetable filler material. Sorry Weezy.

1 out of 5 stars A halfassed mixture of rap and rock stereotypes.   June 9, 2010

This is not a rock album. this is a collection of badly made songs based off of what lil' wayne thinks about rock
