4 out of 5 stars Good CD   June 27, 2010

I must admit - I don't buy a lot of rap albums. I usually just like the great beats and try to tune out the music but I do think Ludacris is very talented. This is a great CD. My kids can't believe a like the song "My Chick Bad" but it is so much fun and it makes me want to dance in my car while I am sitting in rush hour traffic.

2 out of 5 stars Dang Luda!!   June 18, 2010
Book 'Em Danno
I bought this CD at regular price off the strength of Luda's catalog. What a disappointment! I thought the concept of the album was Battle of the Sexes, which is great, but Ludacris just seems stale and his passion is not evident. What happened?

I like tracks 2, 4, 6, 13, 14, and bonus track 15. Track 6, Sex Room, is my favorite because it's classic Luda. This man's tongue game (no pun intended) is ridiculous when he's on slow tracks and talking to the ladies!! I know he wants to have an album that caters to men and women but he doesn't do it on this one. He also seems to need someone else on the track for him to display his A game. Luda please learn to be your own motivator.

Sorry, I can not in good conscience tell anyone to buy this album. Skip it and hope he comes better next time.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty Good   June 10, 2010

I've only listened to this album a few times because it was good but just not that great!

5 out of 5 stars Battle Of the Sexes!   May 5, 2010

I was very skeptical of purchasing this album. At first, I listened and I disapproved of it. Then, later, the album grew on me. The beats to the lyrics! This is a spirtited collection that gives men and women equal billing. Luda named this album, titled above, because in relationships, there are battles that go on every single day. This album also does provide plenty of insight. I know that this album has been receiving positive to mixed reviews from the critics. I know this album is not a classic but I am enjoying it at the moment.

5 out of 5 stars One of the Best   May 5, 2010
Sharee S. Ligons (Aiken, SC)
I don't know what a lot of people are talking about. To me, Battle of the Sexes was one of his best cd's. From the beginning to the very end. Especially the bonus track "Sexting". I also like "Sex Room". I knew that song was gonna hit the radio stations as soon as I heard it. I also like the fact that he brought some of the new and older female rappers on the cd such as Nicki Minaj & Eve. I have been a fan of Ludacris from the start and I don't think I heard a cd of his that I didn't like. He gets better & better which each and every album. Keep doing what you do Luda!
